BlockFront – WW2 Minecraft Mod is a World War 2 mod that modifies the BlockFront online game in many ways. The mod has been created by gamer enthusiasts and was released in May 2021. The game involves the player playing the role of an Australian soldier in World War 2, tasked to protect the city of Sydney from an invasion of German soldiers who have occupied it. This action can be played single player or with up to four players at a time in split screen mode.
As its name implies, the Block Front – WW2 Minecraft Mod adds a block background to the game, featuring a view of the Sydney Harbor and other important landmarks. It adds a number of game modes, including the “Global” game modes which feature several maps of different complexity levels and are available with additional players. The “Survival” game modes allow only two players to play against each other. Other add-on features include the ability to change the game’s music and its overall theme.
One of the most popular features of this mod is the block modifying system that allows players to create and modify virtually any blocks in the game. This includes items such as shelves, desks, glass cabinet and many others. These blocks can be combined to build different structures, such as guard posts, ammo crates, lookout towers and many others.
The Block Front – WW2 Minecraft mod features an improved block physics system that takes into account the weight and gravity of the block, instead of relying on simple block physics. This feature helps the game’s physics engine to run smoothly, resulting in better performance and smoother gaming experience for all users. New blocks have also been added that were inspired by real life events, like a submarine in real life. These include the Enigma, Rorschach, Eiffel Tower, and Liberty Bell, which are all carefully crafted, realistic and fun additions to the game’s blocks.
However, the most popular add-on is the content creation system, which allows players to design new levels, structures and other content in-game. This includes a resource collector, which gathers basic resources like wood and coal, at a steady pace. There are also smelters, which are used to break down metal bars into bars of metal, which can then be sold for additional resources. The blocks can be welded together in the same way as they are placed, and the finished product will have the effect of metal bars being interlaced and joined to form whatever structure the player wants.
The Block Front – WW2 Minecraft Mod is an updated version of the popular original mod, which has been completely revamped and rebuilt from scratch for the version 1.5. It now features an exciting multi-player mode with split-screen and a “LAN” function, and a number of other cool features that make this a fast, smooth and enjoyable online game. I haven’t played any of the older versions of Block Front, but if you enjoy classic strategy games, this one has a lot to offer.
