Are you a Minecraft player that needs to know how to do some chest commands? Are you looking for a quick, easy way to be able to build and put stuff in your chests? If you are, then you’ve come to the right place. In this guide, I’m going to show you exactly how to get started with chest commands. So without further adieu, let’s get started!
First off, you’re going to need to find a chest of some sort in the overworld. When looking for one, it is recommended that you use a MCM tool, as it allows you to see what’s inside your chest. There are many types of chests, and I’ll demonstrate a few of them below:
You can also try the command block option if you’d rather not have a chest. You’ll notice the chest is empty when you use this, but you’ll also notice that the chest looks kind of empty inside. What do you do? Use a block and put some dust into the chest! That simple little step will ensure you don’t empty the chest while you’re trying to get it working!
Now that you have an empty chest, what can you do with it? First off, there are several different types of chest commands to be able to accessorize your new possession. You can put a sign on the front, making it say “loading chest”, and this will allow you to load up your inventory. If you’re going to do this, however, make sure you’ve stocked up on some of the more common resources, such as iron or coal, so that you won’t be spending too much time searching for them.
There’s also a shovel option, which will dig you a hole and give you dirt. You can pick which type of shovel you want, though it is advised not to get one with “super speed” because you’ll be moving quite fast, and I doubt you’ll want to be stumbling around in the dark! Pick a shovel with moderate speed.
Finally, if you are looking to get more storage space, there are also a couple of options. You can get either a pickax or a shovel, which will increase your inventory a bit, but then again, it makes it harder to get the things you need. A better solution would be to get a chest, and actually fill it with goodies. chests, in my opinion, are by far the best way to increase your inventory size without having to be a lazy bum!
