Welcome to another minecraft review! In this one I will go through my thoughts and opinions about the Cristichi’s Tree Capitator Mod. This is one of the newest MineCraft mods out there, and it really makes me glad that I have it. It has taken a lot of abuse from me, however I do not regret purchasing it. I think it is a fantastic idea and I am sure that it will get even better with time.
The first thing that I thought when I saw the Tree Capitator was that it would be too much of a task to try and create a good world with it. However, the developers, Nilfisk and Sefton, have done a great job in making the mod so easy to use that you will wonder why you never bought it in the first place. When you first get your machine, you will notice that the contraption looks rather crude, but it can be improved upon. It will soon become apparent what makes the Treecapitator such a great machine.
The design of the machine is based around a large white wooden type of tree. As you can imagine, there are plenty of uses for these contraptions – you can grow trees in them. This means that, assuming you know how to build a trellis, you can have a nice little forest in minutes. The biggest thing that limits this, however, is the fact that you need to be near water to begin growing trees in them.
After that you simply build up the platform on which the tree will grow on. There are three available platforms, each with their own style. You can also construct bridges from them if you wish. You will find that the tree will grow in any direction that you put it – you can put it on top of the platform, as an example, or you can put it in a horizontal position. The direction that it grows is controlled by the wind.
A very impressive part of this machine is the fact that it is powered by a simple touch. This means that you can build it yourself and try out different configurations until you find the right one for you. Just like the real thing, the minecraft mod gives you a simple command to move the hopper onto its appropriate spot and then use the hopper’s lever to pull the basket full of stuff through the hopper. This is where I think the real beauty of this machine lies.
You can learn how to build this, simply by going online. There are videos showing you exactly how to do it. The only problem is that they can be a bit expensive for beginners, so you should be prepared to pay for them. But after that – who cares? It’s fun to build, and your children will surely love playing with it!
