The Dark UI is a Forgecraft mod that shows a little message about a damaged crafting recipe, when the player tries to pick it up. The recipe in question is placed under the appropriate block. If you hover over the block you will get details about the recipe, and if you hover over a tool in the inventory that can be used to pick up or drop the block. With this mod installed on your Minecraft server, crafting with a crafted item will display a message saying that the recipe is damaged. It doesn’t actually hurt anything and it’s easy to fix.
This particular Forgecraft mod adds a number of blocks which are damaged during crafting. These blocks can be identified by a small arrow icon above their name on the block data screen. If you hover over a damaged block, you will get more information about it. You will also see a list of all of the blocks that are in the world, and which are in block data format.
In order to make the crafting experience more fun, the Dark UI has some additional features built in. One of these features is the ‘ping’ system. This works very much like the regular pinging system used to indicate an ore node. However, with the Dark UI you will see two pings per every level of the block. Clicking on any of these pings will tell you where that block is located.
If you want to know if you’ve found a block that has that particular type of ore, you can click on the block and you will get details about it. You can also view a list of all the blocks in the world at a time. If you click on a block while it is highlighted, you will get a tool tip telling you what you need to do. The Dark UI has a lot of potential, and I’m sure that as players learn about it, they will be able to come up with a lot more creative ways to utilize this very powerful mod.
The Dark UI also adds the ability to edit recipes. You can quickly edit the crafting recipe and save it. This makes the mod very easy to use for players who are trying to save time when they are creating their recipes. You can also edit the recipe while you are in a game. For example, if you want to make something but don’t have the tools, just right-click on the crafter frame, select an available crafter and then change what you want.
All of this highlights the fact that The Dark UI can benefit everyone who tries to get involved with minecraft. It has a multitude of features that make everything easier to handle. I have personally found it to be very beneficial, and not only does it make the game easier to play, but it’s also great fun to play. I highly recommend this mod to anyone who enjoys minecraft, or just wants to customize the game experience. It really is a must-have for every user.
