Enchantment Descriptions 1.16.5 are now in the game and they are a lot more detailed than they used to be. This is great because it means that you don’t have to rely on an addon for everything anymore. The Enchantment System overhauled pretty much every part of enchanting including recipes, rewards, and even entire skill trees. But there is one thing that wasn’t touched and that’s enchantments. We’re talking about the vanilla enchantments that were added by mods.
Not all of the vanilla content had to be changed or remade but a lot of it was. One of the biggest complaints about vanilla was that it lacked flavor and there weren’t any unique enchantments that players could acquire. The Enchantment descriptions were also skimmed over in favor of the same old stuff that was added to the game. Thankfully, the overhauled vanilla system solved this by including several new items that aren’t found anywhere else on the game.
Now there are literally hundreds of new recipes, items, and systems available. The modding community has put together something that provides an overhauled version of vanilla that adds hundreds of new recipes, items, and skills while simultaneously overhauling nearly every aspect of the game. From the enchantments themselves, to the materials to use, and most importantly, to how these enchantments work with each other. There is something for every class in the game, and even things for those who aren’t necessarily spellcasters.
If you want to get started, the best thing that you can do is look through the database of existing enchantments. The only thing that will be different is the name and the description of the enchantment. Once you have found an enchanting recipe that you want to try out, you can then copy it over to the game’s code and change the name and description so that it matches your changes. The only downside to this is that doing this requires a bit of technical knowledge. Fortunately, the internet has a number of sites that will walk you through this process step by step.
Once you’ve figured out how to do this, the next step is to find an Enchantment Database. This database will list all of the items that are in vanilla and all of their Enchantment Descriptions. It will also provide you with information about where to get these items as well as information on where to craft them from. As you can tell, Enchantment Descriptions is extremely important. If you know what they are you can craft them just as easily as you can craft them with items that don’t have Enchantment Descriptions.
While you’re looking through the Enchantment Descriptions, you might notice that some are better than others. The ones that are listed first will be the highest priority, since you’ll probably have a lot of trouble enchanting items that don’t have descriptions. The last ones that will be listed will be lower priority, since there are a lot more of them in vanilla and you’ll probably have a harder time finding the ones that are truly useful. Just remember that Enchantment Descriptions are very important and that they come with items, which means you should really learn to use them well.
