Escape The Island is a top-down, action-adventure game for those who love adventure and who love to make the things that they love come true. It’s not one that is very realistic or has a lot of complexities. However, it really is a fun game, and even if it doesn’t have a lot going on, it will make you think. I especially loved the little twists that kept me coming back for more.
To begin with, the storyline of Escape The Island is you helping the authorities to evacuate an island, The Strain. You are playing as both Jack and Kate, and you are helping them do their job as well as possible so that there will be no lives are damaged in the process of evacuating the island. As you do this, you’ll encounter a number of survivors along the way. As the game moves along, you’ll also find out about some of the other characters who are either helping you on your mission or are trying to ruin your efforts. A few of these include the Scrappers, the Penguin, and the Gentleman Squid.
The graphics and the overall look and feel of the game are fairly well done. There are not a lot of details, but it looks like it was well made. I especially liked the underwater scenes. I especially liked how the particles for the water looked when they went through the pipes. It made things look a little different, but it also added some life to the game. That is especially important in an adventure type game.
One thing that I really didn’t like about the game, however, was that there were some bugs in it. I found that, when I tried to go up to an island with a power source, I would sometimes not get there when I wanted to. The screen would shrink and I wouldn’t be able to see what I was doing, but the island would not move. Other times, the screen would freeze and I would have to reboot the game. These are minor issues, but they really did not make the game very enjoyable.
One of the best parts of this game is the music. The tunes are beautifully done and really fit the mood of the game. At points during the game, there are some excellent songs that will get you going. Even though I did not like most of the songs, I still had a lot of fun with them. The game is well designed and has a great atmosphere.
There are some other mods that can be used to enhance this mod as well. I recommend using Doctoralthis’ Island Minecraft Mod as it will provide a better experience overall. As well, the game will run faster and more smoothly. This mod is easy to use and is completely free to download. You will not lose any money by using it and you will be able to customize your experience as well. If you are looking for a nice mod to add to your collection, then look into Escape the Island Mod.
