Not long ago, I was having a discussion with someone on my Facebook wall about the new FTB Interactions that is now in the game. Someone was wondering if it might be a good idea to start using these. He had heard about them and had seen some enjoyment from them, but of course didn’t quite know how they worked.
Well, the FTB Interactions is pretty simple. At the top of the screen there is a gear wheel, which when clicked will rotate your character around the map. The other major piece of content is the FTB World Map, which changes dynamically as you play around the world. You basically get to see the topography of each area as well as the terrain itself – although, you can only see the top/side of the map.
With this mod installed, you can have the usual help button. This will give you information on what type of blocks are available for use in your building/repairing, and which kind of items you can use to help you progress through the game. As you level up, you also gain experience points. These help you move to the next level. Each level has its own challenges, so it’s important to know what you’re doing when you go down a path.
But players also have the opportunity to try their hand at customizing their game. There are tons of options, and each one can add a significant amount of flavor to the game. Want to make a fort outside the city? There are easy ways to create your own fort, from purchasing/crafting/building materials to placing an existing structure to the tiniest of detail. The sky is truly the limit!
And speaking of limits, players can choose to play on creative mode. When in creative mode, players are given the ability to do nearly anything they want. They don’t need to worry about mobs or monsters, and they don’t need to perform quests. Everything that they do however, has a negative/positive impact on their screen score.
As you can see, F TB Interactions takes a lot of factors into consideration when designing this game. I feel that it does a great job at making the most out of the resources that MMORPGs have to offer. The fact that players can actually have custom creations for their characters is just icing on the cake. I don’t know if it was meant to be, but I think this game will go far beyond just being another Minecraft mod. I’m expecting great things in the future. If you’re a Minecraft player, I suggest you check out F TB Interactions.
