Industrial Foregoing is a mod for the Vanilla modpack Minecraft. The aim is to improve upon the vanilla minecraft experience. It does this by removing some of the boring, underused features, such as stone pick ups. It also removes some of the more troublesome aspects of the game, such as the need to have a bunch of torches to light up dark areas.
Industrial Foregoing changes many aspects of the game in a few ways. For example, instead of having to mine sand and gravel to make bridges, you now get only one resource, coal. This means that you will have to decide to use it for yourself or selling it to other players. The reason I think this change is an excellent one is because it actually adds value to the game. You will be able to earn more money, so you can buy tools and other stuff that you need to progress, while making your own bridges.
Another great thing about Industrial Foregoing is the way it modifies mining. As mentioned above, you no longer mine just sand and gravel, you now mine copper, tin, iron and silver. You will find many ores and gems on the map which can be mined in different ways. There are also several new enchanted ores which can give you both extra durability and extra health. I find this particular aspect of the mod really enjoyable.
There is another feature I would like to mention regarding minecraft recipes. Right now, there is no way to harvest water. Water is only generated when you mine, which makes you have to mine more often. If you want to prevent yourself from having to mine more than you need, you can put a chest next to your bed and fill it with water. You will be able to make potions and food at a much lower rate.
Industrial Foregoing introduces a new concept to minecraft, which is ore keying. Ore will start to drop once you learn how to take the right kind of ore. Once you know which ones to mine, you will start to receive positive effects, such as health regeneration and unlimited energy. However, if you mine the wrong kind of ore, you will receive negative effects, such as less health and less energy. It all depends on what kind of ore you mine.
Overall, minecraft is a very fun mod to play. It allows you to create items and build amazing structures, and it provides you with endless possibilities. You can build almost anything you want in minecraft, and as long as you have the resources, you can make them. Minecraft is truly the number one Minecraft mod!
