Invisible Item Frames is a type of crafting frame that are invisible until you want to change the contents. You can add, remove or replace any items inside it without having to see it. If you are thinking that this is impossible then think again. It is possible and you can find these frames in the Minecraft Mod. This item is used to hold any type of item like books, food, equipment or even crafting resources.
This type of frame is made up of three main parts that are the base, the stand and the lid. The stand can be found on top of the frame and it contains the arms, which are the four small ones that hold the items that you want to display. There are also some stands that will have wheels attached to it so you can move them around as well.
Once you have placed the base on the ground or on a wall, you will need to make a few more steps until you get to the stand part. At this point you will have to place the invisible block at the top of the frame and then attach the lid to the frame with a block. Then you will have to place the invisible block at the bottom and then attach the stand to it with another invisible block. You will end up with four invisible sides that will hide all of the things that you do not want to see.
You will be able to craft different types of items and display them on these frame options. They will even work on some of the enchanted variants of items. For example if you are crafting an enchanted book and place it on the invisible block, it will display just as if it was an enchanting spell cast on it. This is something that many people are asking for and it is available in the Minecraft Mod.
Some of the other features that this item has included being able to detect other blocks on the screen. This means that when you are crafting some of the items you will be able to tell if they are complete or not. You can also tell if you have crafted the right amount of items by looking at the little light bulb above the crafting options. You can even see if you have crafted all of the items in an inventory or not when you look up at the inventory overhead.
The only thing that I think is missing from this item is a crafting recipe. Since I do not know what the vanilla version looks like I was unable to find one, so this is my suggestion for the vanilla items. Craft an invisible item frame and then craft a block that extends from the top back to the side. Place that block over the other two back to create a type of platform for crafting items over. Place all of your crafting blocks over there and you will have a nice big table for displaying your crafting items.
