The recent attack on the US Embassy in Iran is only one of many issues that the Iranian government is facing right now. It is only one of many things that are bothering the American public and the Western world at large. It is only one of many things that are dividing the civilizations of the world as we know it. And, it is only one of many things that the Iranian government is busy doing to get the media involved in confusing the world and to distract us from their numerous crimes that they are committing against the Western world. Unfortunately, this attack on the US Embassy is only helping them along their mission to convince the West that they are a legitimate government that does have support from the United States government and the United States citizens.
One of their first goals is to change the election laws in the United States so that the seats will be controlled by the hard-liners in the ruling party. The hard-liners want to keep a tight grip on the economy and prevent the free market from changing. To do this, they have started a fierce debate about capital gains taxes. Because the economy is facing so much trouble, capital gains tax is one area that is being targeted by the hard-liners. Although the US government, along with the European Union, want to increase this tax, the hard-liners want to keep it where it is.
Another item on the agenda of the Iranian President is his country’s support for terrorism. The Iranian regime has given money and weapons to international terrorists such as: Hamas and Hezbollah. While the United States State Department has designated Hamas and Hezbollah as terrorist organizations, the Iranian President believes differently. He has stated that these groups are “freedom fighters”, and that if Israel responds to attacks from Iran with force, the Iranian President will take his country’s side. Meanwhile, Hezbollah and other terrorist groups are taking over Israel right now. This will be interesting to watch in the coming negotiations.
Apparently, the Iranian President believes he can play the big man game in the Middle East, as he threatens the United States and its closest allies. Will this bluff once again? Who knows? Some people say that the US is already a “one-way ticket” towards Iran, because Iran has promised to cut off all oil exports to the Western world if the Western world takes action against Iran at some point in the future. The fact is, no one knows what the Iranian President will do next, but it’s obvious he wants to continue and boost his popularity amongst the people of Iran.
The US also needs to understand that Iran will have a nuclear bomb if/when they acquire one. Currently, they are making nuclear fuel rods for a bomb, and manufacturing nuclear weapons components for those bombs. Additionally, Iran is funding proxy terrorist organizations in the Middle East to build bombs. Iran is also trying to make a nuclear bomb itself, and is working very hard on that goal. The question is, will the Iranian President be able to complete this project, and produce a nuclear weapon before Iran gets a new US President?
The current situation is a scary one indeed, and there are many who disagree with the Iranian President’s methods, and believe he is passing the Iranian population against the Western World. Some even fear that he may use those nuclear weapons against Israel or the Gulf States. However, the Iranian President has not said a word regarding those comments and has not issued any threats. Many say the best course of action is to continue the current efforts to normalize the Middle East, and work with the new moderate leader of Iran. A new moderate leader would be better able to work with the people of Iran in order to achieve stability in the region.
