The Lobby 1.16.5 API is an addon that modifies and enhances the game. It has been created by an Australian group called the “Upward Star” which is the makers of the popular mod Team fortress. It provides a great number of features not available with the standard game. For example, instead of being forced to buy armor and weapons from a vending machine, you can stock up in weapons and armor at an interactive inventory terminal. You have a wide array of resources to choose from, and crafting and gathering has been made even easier. As you will see from the video below, the functionality of this mod is better than the standard games.
You can use the Lobby API in-game for a variety of different functions. Some of the most common functions are purchasing mining charge, equipping a gun, equipping a shovel, and so forth. However, there are some that aren’t quite known yet, like the ability to change your face in the chatbox. It also provides several other functions that you will find useful. In the future, I am sure that more additions to this mod will be added to it.
The basic idea behind the Lobby API is very simple, but creating the add-on itself was a little more difficult. First, I wanted to add support for multiple textures. I could have simply used a normal texture for the mobiles, but the mobiles take up so much space that it would be a hassle to do that. Luckily, I found this cheat code. It allows you to use two texture formats on the same frame.
Another thing that I wanted to add was the ability to edit my own name in the chatbox. Unfortunately, I hadn’t thought of that before, and it wasn’t there yet. I suppose that maybe if I had looked harder, I would have discovered this cheat code. I am fairly certain that I may have used the code to create my own username. If anyone has any ideas on where I can find secret codes, I would be very interested.
After completing all of these tasks, I then created the lobby. This was a little bit more difficult than the mod I made for the vanilla Minecraft. There are many different kinds of decorations that can be used in the lobby. Everything from statues and cobblestone walls to many more.
These updates to the Simple World Adder Mod were great. It now has an inventory system, many new options for displaying the messages, and allows you to customize many aspects of your game. The mod has received many positive reviews from its current users and its future players. I hope that this is the beginning of many more positive improvements to the mod.
