Mystical Agriculture 1.16.5 is a mod which promotes the farming of mystical crops. The crops are all edible, but cannot be eaten by mobs or zombies. Instead, they are converted into “enchanted” items, which can then be sold for a profit on the auction house or given away as gifts. This type of farming is a variant on the traditional farming setup where you plow and harvest crops in much the same way as you would with crops that do not yield any rewards. However, unlike normal farms, enchanted crops will not decay.
Mystical Agrofarming is actually quite easy to get going. There are many guides available that show you the exact steps to take, and all you need to get started is a simple hand axe and a pickax. You’ll also need an extra patch of dirt, some empty glass bottles, and a few metal dusting balls. It’s also recommended to make a backup copy of your world before attempting the actual farming, just in case problems occur or you mess something up.
Mystical Agriculture can be used to help support any farming setup, from small beginnings using just a pickax and a shovel to much larger setups using an entire farmhouse full of machinery. The biggest benefit is that it allows you to create 1.16.5 a sustainable farm, because all of the food you produce is edible. You can cook your crops and eat them without having to worry about hunger or thirst, and you won’t run out of food or money due to running out of iron and crops need to be planted to replenish supplies.
The trick to get this strategy to work effectively is to use a series of crops that all together look the same. The best way to do this is to make all of your crops have the same model number and to make the ones you plant together also have the same model number. Each of your crops should have a tag on the side of the plant that says [FRONZY] printed on a yellow tag. When you click on this tag, you will be taken to a page where you can choose what crops you want to plant to make them more fertile, and when you click on the tag again it should say [FEEDING] to indicate that it is a time-consuming task that will take several days to finish.
This modifies the game significantly by making it so that planting crops will not take up too much of your time. You won’t have to wait for them to grow, harvest them, and then replant them. Instead they will grow very quickly and you will be able to feed them directly to your animals. It’s basically a “do it yourself” farming mod. And unlike most do it yourself mods it actually makes sense. If you were to make your own food, wouldn’t it be better if you made it using the same resources?
Another great aspect of mystical agriculture is that its crops are affected by the weather. You can adjust the weather on the map to increase or decrease the chance of each crop. For example, when it starts to rain you can plant more trees in order to dry out the soil faster. This way you can increase your farm’s income and make farming even more lucrative!
