One Block MC is a great mod for all types of Minecraft players. I am going to go over a few reasons why this might be a great thing for you, and hopefully encourage you to download the mod so that you can start to enjoy even more of the game. First, let’s go over a little bit about the mod, and what kind of things it offers.
When you first install One Block MC, it will have a few problems. It starts out not being compatible with many of the most recent versions of the game. It will only work with the 1.5 version of the game. If you are on a server that’s using the latest version, this will be fine. If you are playing on a version that’s older than 1.5, you’re going to be quite disappointed.
This is simply because the newer versions of the game use different textures for the ore blocks. One Block is trying to do too much, and putting every single ore in the game into a version that doesn’t even match is just silly. What they did instead was simply change the names of the blocks so that the items you see don’t look like they belong in the block. So for example, instead of using “ore” as your keyword for a block, you just use “coal”. It’s just like the old MC game, where you had to match the type of ore with the block.
A lot of people like having a mining speed perk. This is something that you won’t find in Most mods, and it will slow you down considerably. With One Block MC however, you get an increased mining speed. The only downside to this is that you will have to have a diamond pick or something to break down the block. If you plan on going through a lot of these, it might be worth it.
Now, let’s talk about the other changes. First off, you now can only mine iron and titanium ore. The reason behind this is simply because those ores are generated naturally and cannot be modified. As I said above, this makes it impossible to get the right tool for the job. However, if you want to go through some of the more rare ores, then you will need to either go through the World Generator or get help by reading the One Block MC manual.
That’s really all the One Block Mod has to offer. It’s a greatMC mod that will really challenge players when it comes to mining. If you want a challenge, this is the right mod for you. If you’re just looking for some one that looks nice, then I would recommend another ore pack. I would also recommend this to anyone who wants to do some serious mining but does not want to have to spend hours doing it.
