For those who have played the original version of this fantastic game will know what this mod is all about. Phosphor Forge minecraft mod provides a whole new mining system, where players mine various resources and build up an infrastructure to support their operations. Players start with just one mine and it is up to them to expand as they discover more deposits. They mine the resources on land and also on underground, using the power of Magma to break up rocks and ore into smaller particles. When ore particles are small enough, they can be used by a Furnace to create items. Each mine is powered by its own furnaces which requires iron to function properly and players can customize them by changing the power source and the speed at which it works.
Players can mine almost everything in the game, however they are more interested in producing more advanced resources. There are many recipes which players can learn so that they can produce more of the things they need. For example, when players mine harder ores they will receive more metal in return and vice versa. This increases the efficiency of the entire mining system.
Players are able to build structures and homes at a nearby town and use these structures as shelter from the elements. Using the power of Wood they can make houses that can be used as a place to sleep and rest. However, players may only store two beds at a time, but they are able to construct as many as they want.
As the game progresses, players will learn how to use the Magma Furnace, which is the main way of generating power in the game. Some people may not like the way the Furnace is implemented in the game, however it does provide a very fun and exciting experience. The concept is relatively simple, but the implementation of it is where the mod suffers.
Some people might not like the way the game is presented, but there are actually many positive aspects that should not be ignored. For example, the overall graphics are great and the animations are fluid and realistic. Due to the nature of minecraft, players are able to build structures that are similar to those found in real life. Also, due to the realistic model, players are able to understand how realistic and accurate the models are.
The music is one of my personal favorites of mine. The tunes are not overpowering or annoying, but rather soothing and peaceful. The sounds are also very crisp and realistic. The textures are also quite smooth. I don’t know if I personally loved the Phosphor forge, but I know many other players loved it.
