Recently I’ve been playing the Reddit version of the pixelmon forge for the very first time and have so far had some pretty good results with it. That’s why I thought I’d make a quick post about the newest addition to the forge, the Pixelmon Reforged mod. The new tile for the Pixelmon forge is a lot more polished than the last one, and includes all of the great new tile that the community has been asking for. This new reforged version will also feature some other nice features that make the whole thing a lot easier to get through.
Let me explain what makes the new reforged Pixelmon tiles so much better. The very first thing I noticed when I loaded up my account was that the background was a lot clearer and there was less of that “fog” effect that is so common on vanilla MineCraft. In fact, it’s been reported that the fog effect is one of the things that make the game much less fun to play for many players. With the new background the game is running a lot smoother. Next, I saw that the minimap was now much larger, which is great for seeing over the entire map. Finally, it’s really easy to see which tile you want to craft at a given point in the forge.
The biggest addition I think is probably the ability to craft a special tile each time you’re ready to fight off an enemy. There’s a special time for each of the seven tile regions on the board, and once you’ve collected all seven you can craft a special tile that causes your opponent to retreat back a little. The special tile doesn’t have any effect on the board itself, but it does allow you to defend your position for a little while. You can also use these tiles when you’re defending your own position to create a wall. It’s a minor thing, but it makes a big difference in the strategic element of the game.
I also loved how you can now trigger effects to get some added excitement into the game. If you hit an opponent with a lava tile, for example, it will release a small cloud of gas that will fill the entire screen with bright red lava. If you move your mouse to the “fire” button, a bright red beam of light will shoot out from the middle of your screen dealing damage to anything in the way! That’s an interesting way to add some interest to the game. The “quaff” mechanic is also very neat – it lets you collect small pieces of food that restore health. It’s a minor feature that adds an extra bit of fun to an otherwise standard game.
In my opinion, pixelmon reforged – Craftonia Region Map is definitely a must-have. If you haven’t played it yet, you really ought to get a copy for yourself. It’s definitely worth the money, and it’s a great addition to any Mario or Zelda fan’s collection! It’s very fun and addictive…it’s also great for people who aren’t huge fans of these types of games, but who want to try something different.
If you’re a big fan of classic RPGs, then this game is definitely for you. I especially enjoyed its music, and the little things I found were neat. Even if you haven’t played it before, I recommend giving it a go! You won’t be disappointed! It’s one of the best games for any level of player.
