What is PSI? PSI is an abbreviation for pounds per square in inch. The pound per square foot or, more correctly, pound-per-square foot is a standard unit of pressure or of force based on avoirdumois measurements. It’s the pressure causing an amount of force per square foot, measured in Newtons.
In SI units, 1 PSI is roughly equivalent to 6.67 N/m². For instance, the force of a spring at thirty pounds per second and attached to a twelve volt battery give a force of forty-six thousand newtons. This, of course, is only a measure of the weight of the spring, and not the full force that apply to the battery.
So how can you know what kind of pressure is used in a given situation? Using the MMORPG minecraft mod, I was able to find out. This mod utilizes a new feature called the ore calculator. This calculator determines what the pressure would be for whatever material is being replaced. It’s a great way to make sure that I’m using the right pressure values in my recipes.
A similar tool is used by the Minecraft game, but it works in a totally different way. Rather than having to calculate the pressure directly, I was given a gauge that changes based on the type of block that is being used. This helps me determine the pressure that is used in recipes. There are three types of blocks used in minecraft: wood, stone, and coal. The minecraft mod makes these items drop more often when they’re broken, but they also have a specific strength (number of hit points) that they can withstand before becoming damaged.
The problem with using these old-style recipes in minecraft, however, is that the block will be damaged and unusable before it gets repaired. That’s where the psi factor comes into play. ThePIset provides the means to repair damaged blocks. It works just like the vanillaPIset, only it has is added to it. The way this works is that once you damage a block, you can break open the card and attach the required psi part. Once that part is attached, the block becomes repaired and becomes usable.
ThePIset is available in the latest version of minecraft mod (1.2), so I wasn’t surprised that it still doesn’t find its way into the majority of minecraft users’ accounts. If you’re one of the few, though, you can use my older version that works perfectly fine. Just search for “minecraft mod ti”, or “psi toasts”. You’ll find that there aren’t any minecraft mod guides or such out there for this, but if you search for “psi toasts” on YouTube, you should be able to find videos showing people exactly how to do it.
