Minecraft Modding has now moved on to the next evolution, the SignShop! This allows players to add extra items to their shops. I have used it quite a bit when I first started out. I found that it helped me get better item conversions, which was important since I was not making enough money to buy those expensive and rare items. You can actually craft these blocks yourself with the SignShop, so you do not need to know anyone who does signs. This is something that a lot of people do not know about.
If you are familiar with vanilla Minecraft, then you will be able to understand what the SignShop is all about. It is a block that is used to create shops. To place one, you need to find an Ore dictionary and search for ‘block’. In the case of Minecraft, you will use ‘stone’. After you have found an ore to use, place the block of the type of material you want.
Once you have placed the block, you will put in the required amount of items to your cart. Put a sign on the front of the shop, and wait for someone to pay with a card. When you are done with your transaction, take the cash from the cart and put it in the register. There you go! Your shop is up!
You can customize your sign by adding in whatever text you want. The text is used to describe your store. You can also add in your own pictures or graphics. Just save the file as an image and use it in the editor of your Minecraft Mod. You are almost done!
You may find that your shop still does not work as you would like it to. If this is the case, you will need to edit the code of the sign. There are many different minecraft mods out there that can help you. Just do a search online for the kind of mod you want to use.
There are a lot of resources out there on the internet. You should be able to find step-by-step instructions for creating your own sign shop in no time at all. You may even find other mods that you can use to enhance your signshop such as those that will give you extra decorations. Just explore all of the possibilities and you will be satisfied with what you create.
