The Official Enigmatica Resource Packs is an amazing mod pack that will help you get started in modding! With over 50+ hand-crafted recipes, along with many unique biomes and decorative objects, you will never be stuck for things to craft. This is a great starter pack for those just getting into modding because it comes with only the basics, and gives you a good place to start learning. It also includes a book on creative assembly that is extremely helpful for new players. This resource pack was created by a very helpful person on the Minecraft Forums, which is why I feel I’m putting this review here.
The thing I love about The Official Enigmatica Resource Pack (also known as The Enigmatica Pack) is that it’s perfect for all levels of experience. This means beginners and experts alike will find everything they need in this mod pack. And the best thing? It’s free! If there were ever freebies in this world, these would be it.
Now that I got that out of the way, I’ll tell you what I like and dislike about The Enigmatica Pack. For one, it lacks recipes for some of the more difficult, crafting-themed mods. However, I suppose that’s part of the point. There are several very useful recipes in this pack that can make life a lot easier when it comes to crafting. And if you really think about it, crafting isn’t even that hard!
Another problem I have with The Enigmatica Resource Pack (also known as The Enigmatica Pack for Minecraft) is that it doesn’t include the many useful textures and decorative items that are required for creating a truly imaginative world. So you end up with something that looks pretty good…for two or three days. But after that, you look at your creations and realize that they don’t really have anything going for them. They just don’t have any kind of substance. Which isn’t a problem if you’re a “dungeon keeper” like me, but it’s a problem if you’re an artist or craftsperson.
What I’m trying to say is that The Enigmatica Pack for Minecraft is not well-made by its creators. The fact that it doesn’t come with many resources is where I part company with it. The other big problem I have with the pack is that it lacks updates. The official Minecraft modpack updates are a must if you want to truly have fun in this game.
So there you have it. Those are my two major critiques of The Enigmatica Resource Pack for Minecraft. I wish I had the resources to create a modpack myself, but even with my lack of modding skills, I was able to get the most out of The Enigmatica Resource Pack for Minecraft. If you’re looking for a great pack to use for your creative efforts, give The Enigmatica Resource Packs a shot.
