TimeZones 1.16.5 Minecraft Mod is a modification for Minecraft, an online adventure game. It introduces a time zone that enables players to control time within the game. This is done by “pushing” or “pulling” certain blocks, and has some interesting consequences. Let us take a closer look at how this time system is implemented in the game.
The TimeZones concept is quite simple. The first three days of the year, you are able to move forward in the game, making progress toward the next stage. As days pass, you will move backward. Pushing or pulling block can be done at any time. At night, however, the blocks are not available, so you will not be able to push any blocks. Similarly, you cannot pull anything at night.
However, what makes this mod so interesting is the way it integrates time with real world factors. When you travel to other times during the year, you will see different days ahead of you. For example, in the winter, you will see snow falling. In spring, the grass is growing. At summer, there’s a hint of burning from the fire and so on.
So, how does all this work? When you push a block, it will be moved forward a few ticks. Pushing something else will reverse the action. When you shift the player’s mouse, it will rotate the block so it is in the right position. It’s a bit of an abuse of the time management system, but you can’t help but admire the way TimeZones Minecraft Mod uses real life to create a fun game!
What makes it even more interesting is that you can actually build structures within the game. If a block is destroyed, another structure is made to replace it. So, for example, if you wanted to make a fort around a campfire, you could make a small hut first and then build a wall over the top to keep out the bugs. Then you could place the wood and start to assemble your structure.
But that’s not all there is to this wonderful game. As I said, the game is moddered to add many exciting aspects, such as: realistic seasonal weather patterns, realistic crops, and the all-important flying cows. Plus, I’ve also added in my own personal touches with my own TimeZones Minecraft Mod, which adds new animals, changed the seasons, and has also helped me to make my own unique story for each of the fifty levels, and I’m still getting ideas from fellow players about how to make the game more exciting. If you would like to try the mod, it can be found on my Mod’s main page.
