Tolkien Craft II is a strategy-management mod for The Lord of the Rings Online. If you are familiar with the previous games in the series, you will feel right at home with Tolkien Craft II. This mod features a fully customizable interface, complete with in-game guides and help files. If you are an expert at the game, you can use the in-game guide to plan your future quests, as well as customizations for every aspect of your character.
When you start playing this game, you will be a Crafter in the city of Draconis. You can choose to become an artisan or a miner. You can also create your own shop in town to sell your crafts or make some gold or money. Once you become a master Crafter, you will find it easier to get needed items, but you will need to know where to find them. You can also learn new skills and get new weapons when you level up in this game.
Each level in the game has different tasks you have to accomplish and goals you need to meet before moving on to the next level. Some of these objectives can be frustrating, but once you finish them, the time sinks away and you are faced with another set of challenges. In fact, sometimes I just want to take a break from all the action and do something that is less stressful. It’s a nice feeling knowing that there is an option to let me idle for a while.
One of my favorite things about this game is that if I am not having any fun, I can simply return to the main menu and play again. I love being able to set up a scenario and play with the other players in my realm. Unlike other online games, you do not always have to go through the same content over again. I can choose to replay parts of the story, or I can change the events that happen throughout the game to make it a personalized experience.
However, some of the game can be a little too much for some players. They will find themselves wanting to do multiple things at once or doing the same task over again. However, with the easy and intuitive interface, they can get passed the repetitive tasks quite easily. As a matter of fact, I often find myself looking for tips and strategies to make things easier. And like other games with this feature, there are several guides available on the web for use with Tolkien Craft II.
Despite having just been released, there are already many positive reviews about this game. Many are saying how enjoyable the game is and how they are having fun with the crafting and character development. Since I have only played the early portions of the game, I cannot give a comprehensive review just yet, but I will say that it has a great tutorial component and it is fairly easy to pick up. If you want to play this type of game but do not want to put in a lot of time, then I recommend checking out Tolkien Craft II.
