The Vein Miner is a very popular mod for the vanilla Minecraft game. It is one of the first mods to come out after the “ModLoader” update, and it is primarily focused on improving the game’s mining system. It also does a great job at removing vein complications that can make the game unplayable for some players. Here are some of the ways in which this mod can improve your gaming experience.
To start with, vein complications can be frustrating. They make the game less fun because you have to mine different veins to get the stuff you need. For example, you might mine a vein and find out that there are multiple veins close to it. Now you’re stuck having to mine all the way to the end in order to get to the resources you need. This is frustrating because it actually takes quite a while to finish a level if you are going to mine one vein after the other.
To make this scenario not happen as often, the Vane Miner mod has some features that will prevent this from happening. For example, when you are mining, if you are near a vein that is about to fill up, you will not get the resources from it until the vein fills up first. The good thing is that when the vein does finally fill up, you get the materials right away. You won’t have to worry about waiting for the vein to fill up, as the game will tell you when it’s ready. You won’t even have to go out into the mines and search for the materials yourself.
But wait, this isn’t the only feature that helps with this. One of the most impressive ones is the fact that you get to pick which chunks of stone and metal are going to be dropped. That way, you won’t be wasting a lot of time looking for the resources. This can really come in handy when trying to build up an early base. It can also make the game a lot more fun because you can actually get to keep all the things you find.
There is actually a lot of different types of Vein Mining that you can do in Smeden. The kind that people should really watch out for though, is the digging veins. This can get very addictive and expensive, especially if there are plenty of Veins around. Fortunately, there is an easy way to fix this, by using the Vein Extender mod. By placing a single block inside a vein, it will expand outward until it eventually breaks free.
Just don’t expect to go mining any big deep veins while using this mod, as they aren’t actually enabled yet. It will be coming soon, so don’t try it while it is still in the alpha testing stage. In the mean time though, it is certainly a lot of fun to play with. Just make sure you are careful with the Vein Miner, as it may turn out to be more of a pain than a pleasure.
